Uniform

All children (Nursery – Year 6) need:

Blue Pike Fold crew neck sweatshirt or cardigan with/without Logo (branded items available from school or school trends, non-branded available in a range of supermarkets and other outlets.)
Gold Pike Fold polo t-shirt with/without Logo (branded items available from school or school trends, non-branded available in a range of supermarkets and other outlets.)
Black school trousers/skirt/pinafore dress (Leggings are NOT permitted school uniform). Pupils in Nursery and Reception may wear black tracksuit bottoms. This is not permitted in the rest of the school. Denim may not be worn.
White/grey/black socks with black flat sensible school shoes NOT boots (shoes/trainers are to be plain with no bright colours, plain black trainers are the preferred footwear enabling children to access the equipment outside). Children may be asked to change footwear if they persistently wear bright coloured trainers. Open toe shoes are not permitted. Sock/tights must be worn. Children in Nursery and reception must NOT wear shoes that require laces.
Blue book bag (not essential, available to purchase from School Trends)
In warmer weather summer dresses may be worn. Blue or yellow gingham dress. Black school shorts may also be worn.
For health and safety reasons, children with shoulder length hair should wear it tied or clipped back for school. Hair accessories should be discreet and in school colours (Blue, yellow or black). Children will be asked to remove hair accessories if not school colours or are too big!

For PE all children (Nursery – Year 6) need:

PLAIN white crew neck T-shirt (previous yellow ones maybe worn, but are to be phased out due to difficulty in purchasing)
PLAIN black PE shorts
Pumps/trainers
Gym bag to keep these in at school.
Plain black tracksuit bottoms maybe worn in colder weather if required. Leggings are not permitted.
Children in year 4 will also need a full swimming costume/trunks and a towel for swimming and a swimming hat. Beach shorts and bikinis are not permitted by the pool staff.

PE Kit should be worn for After School sporting clubs. All PE kits should be free from any logo or brand names. It is essential that all children have a PE kit.

On health and safety grounds, we do not allow children to wear jewellery to school (except for small studs and watches). We do not allow headwear to be worn during class time or inside school buildings, except for religious or medical reasons. If it is for religious reasons plain black/blue headscarves can be worn. Hair below shoulder length must be tied back again for health and safety reasons. Hair accessories must coincide with the school colours and be small in size. Children will be asked to remove large non uniform coloured bows etc. School will provide suitable hair bobbles if needed.

We have a compulsory school uniform, which may be purchased online via School Spider. Orders made via School Spider will be at a subsidised rate and available to collect from school within 5 school days.

Every term we hold a uniform shop/swap shop, parents can exchange school uniform with good quality pre-loved uniform. Any new parents/children will be offered the option of pre loved uniform upon registering. If any parents require family support to purchase uniform our Early help lead in school will support where possible.

Due to storage issues, we will not be ordering any more of the larger size uniforms (34"/36"). The remaining items we have of the larger sizes will be sold at the monthly uniform shop until the stock is depleted, however 34" Jumpers and 34" Cardigans will continue to be sold on School Spider until stock is depleted. Unless we have stock available, please order larger sizes of uniform directly from School Trends by clicking the link below. Blue bookbags should also be ordered via School Trends directly. Pupils will be provided with a free, heavy duty plastic book bag at the beginning of the new academic year.
