Forest school week 7 🔥

Date: 19th Jul 2017 @ 7:17pm

Sadly it was our last forest school session of the term this week! We have had a wonderful 7 weeks and it has been amazing to see the children grow in confidence in their natural environment and become more independent in their learning and exploring. We are already excited about our autumn sessions with Reception as we continue to observe how our environment changes over the seasons.

Thank you to all the parents who completed an evaluation form, we had some lovely comments:

"My son loves Forest School - he tells me all about mini-beasts at home and
how he toasts marsh mellows."

"My daughter is quite shy but I think when she is outdoors at Forest School
it builds her confidence- she is always more talkative after Forest School".

"Whenever my daughter talks about Forest School school she smiles, she can
tell me all about the creatures and trees."

"Forest school has played a significant part in my daughter relating
to the world and the life cycle".

"Forest school has provide my daughter with new challenges to explore, which
promotes confidence, self- esteem and life skills, it also allows her
to socialise with others and share ideas".

"My son absolutely loves Forest School, he cannot wait until tuesday
when he knows it is Forest School- his confidence has grown and he now
talks a lot more about the world and collects natural objects to make
things like rafts and dens".
