History - Romans

The children discussed reasons for moving to a new house, town or country. They found that the reasons they gave were similar to the ones the Romans had for moving to Britain nearly two thousand years ago! We then learned more about the terms invaders and settlers, with the children desribing the Romans as invaders as they took Britain by force.
