School Information

The School Day

School opens at 8.30 am for Breakfast Club. Children who do not attend Breakfast Club must wait on the yard, where the teachers will collect them at 9.05 am.

The school day begins at 9.05 am, and there is a morning break for KS1 from 10.15am until 10.30am and KS2 from 10.30am until 10.45am.

Lunchtime for KS1 is from 12.00pm to 1.00pm and for KS2 is from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.

Nursery finish between 3pm - 3.15pm
Reception finish at 3.15pm
Year 1 classes finish at 3.20pm
Year 2 classes finish at 3.25pm
Key stage two classes at 3.30 pm.

Walking Bus

We operate two walking buses each morning.

Route 1

Start time - 08:45am

The starting point is on the corner of Plant Hill Road and French Barn Lane, pupils will arrive at school between 8:55am and 9:05am.

Route 2

Start time - 08:45am

The starting point is on the corner of Hill Lane and Laurel Bank Gardens, pupils will arrive at school between 8:55am and 9:05am.

Please speak to Mrs Heywood if you would like to join either of our walking buses.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast club runs each schoolday morning from 8.30 am to 8.55 am. Cereal, toast and hot drinks are available for children and their parents at very reasonable prices.

Attendance

Good attendance is essential to successful education. It is the responsibility of parents to ensure that their children attend school. Punctuality is also a vital part of school life.

If your child is absent from school, please ring and let us know why as soon as possible on the first day of absence. Unexplained absences have to be referred to the Education Welfare Service.
