Artists visit the Foundation unit to create an under the sea world!

Two artists from the Whitworth Art gallery visited Nursery and Reception to create a coral reef and various sea creatures to link in with our theme ‘Under the sea’. The children used a variety of different materials, combining them to achieve a planned effect. The children constructed with a purpose in mind exploring a variety of materials, tools and techniques, experimenting with colour, design, texture, form and function. Many thanks to Mandy and Emma who worked with and inspired all 112 children! We have used some of the amazing artwork to create a beautiful display to remember our fantastic day!
