Perfect pizzas! 🍕

Miss Whittle and Mrs Renshaw's reception group had a fantastic morning learning all about making pizzas at Pizza Express. The children learned about kneading the dough, before making their own pizza adding tomato, cheese, and oregano. Whilst our pizzas were cooking in the oven the children took part in a fun tasting quiz and we talked about all the different ingredients that can be added to a pizza including onion, basil, tomato, mushroom, olives and peppers. The children used their senses to think of lots of fantastic words to describe these ingredients. When our pizzas were cooked we all got to take them home, along with a certificate for each child- we hoped you enjoyed them! Thanks so much to the helpful team at Pizza Express, Prestwich- we had a fantastic morning!!!! The restaurant manager commented the class on their excellent behavior and manners!!!

Miss Gates and Miss Hardy's class will be making their own pizzas after half term.
