Remembrance

This week Reception children have learnt about Remembrance. A few children spotted that staff have been wearing poppies (knitted by Mrs Renshaw!) and wanted to know why. We looked for some information on the computer and we learnt that we wear poppies to remember soldiers who died looking after us. We made our own poppies and at 11am we held a two minutes silence to think about people who protect and look after us.
