On Friday 6th December, Year 6 visited the Stockport Air Raid Shelters. We were treated to a very informative tour of the underground shelters and afterwards took part in a workshop exploring what life was like during the wartime. Our guides were extremely helpful and kept up their roles as Air Raid Wardens and Billeting Officers. The children thoroughly enjoyed receiving their new 1940s inspired names!
